hey, nai here again. founder of the nai project™, i'm an IMDb-accredited filmmaker with a deep love for photography. based in the san francisco bay area, i'm a 1.5-generation mien american, the son of refugee parents who fled laos after assisting the U.S. during the "Secret War of Laos." born in a refugee camp, my journey began with no birth certificate, no records – a story i yearn to delve deeper into one day by retracing those early steps.

as the middle child in a family of seven, i was the first to graduate from college, proudly earning a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast journalism from california state university, long beach. when i'm not immersed in the world of film and photography – exploring new equipments and softwares – i enjoy rediscovering the beauty of the bay area, spending quality time with family and friends, and cherishing moments with my aging parents.
